OUR CERTIFICATIONS

Overview

Saffron consists of the delicate, dried stigmas (threads) of the Crocus sativus flower. Each flower produces only three stigmas, which must be painstakingly harvested by hand, making it the most expensive spice by weight. The famed Kashmiri Saffron is known for its deep color and intense aroma.

Saffron is the world’s most precious spice, revered in Ayurveda as a tridoshic herb that balances all three doshas. It is a powerful Rasayana (rejuvenator), antioxidant, and is known to be an aphrodisiac. It is used to improve complexion, calm the nerves, and support heart health. It is often added to milk as a tonic for vitality and radiance.

  • For Radiant Skin: Soak a few threads of saffron in a small amount of warm milk for 20-30 minutes. Use this infused milk as a base for face packs or drink it for an inner glow.
  • For Culinary Luxury: Add a pinch of saffron threads (often bloomed in a little warm water or milk first) to rice dishes like biryani, paella, and desserts like kheer and ice cream to impart a golden color and luxurious flavor.
