Orange peel is a celebrated ingredient in Ayurveda for both skincare and digestion. Its slightly heating nature and pungent taste help to stimulate sluggish digestion (Agni) and pacify the Kapha dosha. For skincare, it is a powerhouse of Vitamin C and antioxidants. It is used as a natural astringent to cleanse and tone the skin, lighten blemishes and dark spots, and impart a natural, radiant glow.
● For a Natural Glow Face Mask: Mix 1 tbsp of Orange Peel powder with 2 tbsp of yogurt to create a paste. Apply to the face and neck, leave for 20 minutes, and gently scrub while rinsing for a brightening and exfoliating effect.
● For a Zesty Body Scrub: Combine the powder with ground oatmeal and a carrier oil to create an invigorating and polishing body scrub.
We select peels from sun-ripened, organic oranges, ensuring they are thick, fragrant, and free from any wax or chemical sprays.
The peels are carefully separated from the fruit, shade-dried to preserve their brilliant color and vitamin content, and then ground into a fine, aromatic powder.
