OUR CERTIFICATIONS

Overview

The Neem tree is called Sarva Roga Nivarini – “the curer of all ailments.” The bark acts as the tree’s protective shield and contains a higher concentration of antiseptic and astringent tannins than the leaves. This makes it particularly effective for dental care and for drying and healing weeping or infected skin issues.

French: Écorce de Neem
German: Niemrinde
Chinese: Yìndù liàn pí (印度楝皮)
Arabic: ء ا م (Laha’ al-neem)
Spanish: Corteza de Neem
Russian: Кора нима (Kora nima)
Japanese: ニーム樹皮 (Nīmu jyuhi)

While the leaves are famous, the bark of the Neem tree possesses even more potent astringent and healing properties. In Ayurveda, Neem bark is considered a superior Vranaropana (wound healer). Its intense bitterness and cooling energy make it excellent for pacifying Pitta and Kapha. It is traditionally used in decoctions for oral hygiene, to heal gum inflammation, and as a powerful wash for infected skin conditions.

● For a Powerful Dental Decoction: Boil 1 tsp of Neem bark powder in 2 cups of water until it reduces to one cup. Cool and strain the liquid. Use this as a daily mouth rinse to support gum health and fight plaque.
For a Healing Skin Wash: Use the same decoction to wash and cleanse affected areas of the skin to help dry out rashes and promote healing.
