Ajwain is a revered digestive aid in Ayurveda, celebrated for its potent Deepana (appetizer) and Pachana (digestive) properties. It is traditionally used to relieve indigestion, bloating, and flatulence. Due to its ability to pacify Vata and Kapha doshas, warm Ajwain water is a common household remedy for abdominal discomfort and maintaining a healthy digestive fire (Agni).

For a Digestive Tea: Add half a teaspoon of Ajwain powder to a cup of hot water. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, strain, and drink after meals to aid digestion.
For Culinary Use: Use the powder as a finishing spice in lentil dishes (dals) and vegetable curries to add a distinct, aromatic flavor.
