● Product Type: Essential Oil
● English/Common Name: Cinnamon Leaf Oil
● Botanical Name: Cinnamomum verum
● Indian Names: Dalchini Patti Tel
● Origin: India
Warm, spicy, and musky with a clove-like undertone. Less sweet than the bark oil.
A thin, mobile oil.
A yellowish to brownish liquid.

This essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves of the same Cinnamomum verum tree that produces the bark. The chemical composition is different; while bark oil is high in cinnamaldehyde, leaf oil is very high in eugenol (the main component of clove oil). This makes it much safer for topical use (when diluted) and gives it its clove-like aroma.
